At the end of March, Planet Interim, together with ZiPconomy, carried out a study into the effect of the Corona crisis among independent professionals in general and the professionals affiliated with Planet Interim in particular. The results.
What is striking in the results is that more 'Planet Interimmers' have a higher education than the average self-employed person and that their income in 29% of the cases is on average around € 100,000. At 20% the income is even higher. Of the respondents, 81% indicated that they mainly carry out assignments for a somewhat longer period of time, say from three months onwards.
At 16.5%, the share of Planet Interimmers with its own Private Limited Company (BV) is higher than the average of all respondents. At 81.3%, by far the majority of the interim workers affiliated with Planet Interim work from a sole proprietorship. When asked 'Have current or promised future assignments been stopped due to the corona crisis?', 53% of Planet Interimmers indicated that this was the case. In as many as 65% of cases, respondents indicated that they think they will lose between 30 and 75% of their turnover as a result of the crisis.
